Previously held at the Jazz Museum, this year its moved to the Spanish Plaza, over which we have mixed feelings. The shade and grass at the Museum was welcome, so the move to a concrete, shadeless location seems like a downgrade, at least in theory. It starts tomorrow, more of that later.

NOLA Day 1
We're in New Orleans for FunkFest, continuing our streak of never missing one of these delightful festivals. The weather is predicted to be hot & humid, to no one's surprise, until the weekend, when rain is a distinct risk.
