BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota has agreed to pay $58,000 in legal fees and costs associated with a federal lawsuit that challenged the state's ban on same-sex marriage.
Court documents show that nearly $7,000 will be paid to the National Center for Lesbian Rights. The remainder will be split by lawyers who represented the plaintiffs.
